On 24 May, the project “Support to the Institutional Reforms of the Constitutional Court” was launched. It aims to promote the process of institutional reform of the Constitutional Court of Armenia. The project will be implemented by the NGO Europe in Law Association with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Armenia.
In his welcoming address, Mr Arman Dilanyan, the President of the Constitutional Court, expressed his warm gratitude to Mr Nico Schermers, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia for supporting the process of institutional reform of the Court and for the exemplary cooperation and relations between the Court and the Embassy. Ambassador Schermers stressed the importance of the consistent efforts on the part of the Court to move forward in the direction of strengthening the Armenian democracy and the rule of law. Ms Lousineh Hakobyan, the President of Europe in Law Association stated that it was with a great sense of responsibility that ELA assumed the commitment to implement the project and that they will ensure that the project is implemented with maximum efficiency.
